You can do more than just ask colleagues to wear their jeans.  Hold an extra fundraising event to boost the amount you raise.

  1. Hold a cake sale - with blueberry muffins, denim donughts and jean-clad gingerbread men!
  2. Organise an office raffle – prizes could be donate from local companies, e.g. a bottle of bubbly, cinema tickets or even a company duvet day!
  3. Charge a small entry fee and ask everyone to join in a ‘Guess the Baby’ competition
  4. Why not plan a team breakfast or lunch? Ask each team member to bring in a dish and charge a small cover charge!
  5. Fine people not wearing jeans.

  1. Hold some office Olympics. Contests could include speed typing, chair swivelling, bin basketball and see who can make the longest paperclip chain. Pay to enter with prizes for the winners.
  2. Have a change in and out of your jeans in record time competition. Pay £1 to enter and the fastest gets a prize.
  3. Sponsor your boss to dress up as a denim icon for the day-The fonz, James dean or Daisy Duke!
  4. Create a swear box for the office and fine anyone who swears 50p.
  5. Hold a bad taste day- pay £2 to wear the worst fashion disaster you can think of.This year's Jeans for Genes Day is our 15th anniversary.  Get in the party spirit with 15 challenges for your team, office or company such as a tiddlywinks tournament, stair climbing relay, or 15 minutes of fame lunchtime karaoke.
